CANCELLED - Twizel Salmon & Wine Festival

Twizel Promotions has been hosting the Twizel Salmon and Wine Festival for the past 16 years and it is a regular “must do” on many visitors’ holiday calendar. 

The festival was scheduled to be held at the Meridian South Island Rowing Complex on Saturday 26th February 2022, but due to ongoing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 Alert Levels and the associated complexities around running future events under the proposed traffic light system, the organizing committee have decided to cancel the 2022 Festival.

The decision to cancel the event was not taken lightly, but after reviewing all of the details around hosting the event the organizers felt that it was the appropriate action to undertake at this time.

While we won’t see the event on this summer calendar, we will look to use the time wisely to organize a bigger and better event for February 2023.

We look forward to seeing you again in 2023!
