about us

We are a volunteer association whose aim is to help facilitate the promotion and development of Twizel. As an incorporated society, we also act as an umbrella association to many clubs and groups within our community.

Twizel Promotions is governed by a board, consisting of 4 executive members and 3 general members. The board employ two staff members - an Office Administrator and a Community & Business Liaison - to manage the day-to-day operations. In the case of the Twizel Update, the board employ four contractors to provide content, edit, proofread, and design the free publication.

Supporter scheme

Collaboration is key to the success of Twizel Promotions in supporting and celebrating Twizel and the greater Mackenzie region. Through our community – including our loyal supporter base, committed volunteers, and dedicated office team – we have continued to host cultural and social events and festivals, provide services and support to locals, and generate publications that enable our news, stories, and collective history to be shared and celebrated.
