2025 sees the Lucas Oil Hydro Thunder Series racing return to Lake Ruataniwha, Twizel from 29 - 30 March 2025 in association with the New Brighton Powerboat Club.
Ticket sales at the gate:

Aya and the Butterfly

Saturday, 12 April
Arts on Tour is back for 2025 with Aya and the Butterfly, a heartwarming story of a little girl finding happiness through observing the life-cycle of a Monarch Butterfly.
Designed for families, especially children aged 3-9 years.
Hydro Project Reunion 2025

14 - 17 April 2025
This event is being co-ordinated to coincide with the final ‘Wheels at Wanaka Truck and Machinery Show’ which will be held in Wanaka over Easter 2025, from Friday 18 April until Sunday 20 April 2025.
The emphasis is on bringing together people who lived, worked, or were associated with these projects since the Waitaki Hydro Dam Project started back in 1928.

Meridian Rowing Centre Timetable

South Island Rowing Inc. are a voluntary organisation that operates and maintains the Meridian Rowing Centre on the shores of Lake Ruataniwha.
Every year they host a number of rowing regattas, private events and the SI Canoe Sprint Championships.
